For 100 years, Bakersfield College has been the go-to place for expertise and education for the community. Whether it is in science, art, or humanities, the college is the premier resource in the community.
Here is one such example. Dr. John Gerhold, Bakersfield College professor of music, will be honored this coming December by the Bakersfield Christmas Parade.
John is the composer of “Christmas in Bakersfield,” the Bakersfield Christmas Parade jingle, and will be honored by the parade for his contributions to the annual celebration.
